Factoring Feedback: Please note that there are so many scams out there and actually just about all ‘job offers’ for work-at-home positions are fraudulent especially when asking for money upfront or wanting personal info which can put one at risk for identity theft: and can click on term.
There are unfortunately not supposed to be too many jobs for the medical biller or coder (or medical assistant) despite what those private $$ schools say. My cousin just got laid off from her medical billing job of five years. The coder usually needs a few years experience doing coding tasks and certification(s) to possibly land a coding job. Perhaps one can start out by looking for medical receptionist, medical records (health information) clerk or office assistant/file clerk. It seems that radiology (xray, cat scan, ie.) outpatient facilities tend to look for file clerks.
